WEG IN THE COMMUNITY
Education, housing, healthcare, the very prerequisites for a comfortable life – still eludes the grasp of substantial segments of the global population. With the resources inherent in most energy projects, WEG reinvests a portion of its earnings to promote job creation and knowledge transfer to local humanity. WEG has established the following to facilitate capacity and human resource development:
• Education – student exchange programs between host countries and U.S. based institutions of higher learning
• Affordable Housing – contribution to the development of shelter in partnership with internationally recognized home builders that focus exclusively on low-to-moderate income communities.
• Healthcare – enlisting the support and participation of physicians, medical institutions and suppliers to provide
on-site healthcare services.
• Economic Development – promotion of projects that contribute to job creation and infrastructure development
